Netflix buying Paramount will solve Star Trek 4 Budget Issues
Netflix is planning to buy the Paramounts studios and it will also solve the Star Trek 4 budget issues. There are reports that Netflix wants to buy Paramount in order to compete against Disney+ as they will get the exclusive rights to the franchise such as Mission Impossible and Transformers.
But that won’t be possible as Paramounts studios come under ViacomCBS and they have big plans for CBS All Access streaming platform. Although, CBS could overtake Paramount and finance Star Trek 4 budget, where both Pine and Hemsworth will also be back.
