Now Chernobyl!

The whole world is witnessing their bad time in this corona pandemic. We all are well of the Chernobyl disaster that took place on 26 April 1986.

On Saturday a forest fire took place in the area increasing the radiation to the 16 times near the power plant. The fire was spread across 20 hectares in the forest area.

People are not allowed to live within 30 kilometers (18 miles) of the power station. Should we consider this as a sign from the earth that “Enough is enough, I need a break now.”

The power plant used to generate electricity until the year 2000.

If you want to learn more about this I would recommend you watch the miniseries Chernobyl streaming on Hotstar. Its IMDb rating is 9.4/10.
