Arjun Reddy’s digital rights are owned by Amazon Prime Video, and the response the movie got over there was overwhelming.
Now seeing the hype that was created by Kabir Singh’s teaser, Netflix cashed in on the deal for the digital rights of the movie.

The movie was highly criticized for Shahid’s portrayal of a misogynistic character.
To which Shahid replied by saying that I’m an actor and I can’t say no to a role just because it portrays something like this.
And the audience is mature enough to distinguish between the good and the bad.

The movie collected 277+cr net in India itself and was declared an all time blockbuster box office India.
It was Shahid’s first solo 200cr grosser movie, Shahid’s performance was highly praised by both critics and the audience.
The movie Crossed 100cr mark in India in just 5 days and was just behind Salman’s Bharat in terms of reaching 100cr mark.
The overall collections of Kabir Singh surpassed Bharat by a very fine margin. As Bharat exhausted its run at 200+cr.
